Tikria is a centuries old mosaic technique found in many palace buildings of the Mughals and the Rajputs. The mosaic panels are made using broken pieces of a spherical ball of the mirror. The master craftsman carefully overlays these pieces on the top of the teakwood to create the intricate patterns.
